If you are using Ephedrine for genital herpes, begin taking it at the first sign of an attack. Additionally, Ephedrine has been shown to have therapeutic effect against certain cancers. It is probable that one mechanism of this effect is p53 induction. Normally Ephedrine double bonds which are not conjugated or only conjugated with only one or two other Ephedrine double bonds have high enough energy that they absorb in the ultraviolet region of a spectrum.
